Secondary School Applications for September 2022

Secondary school applications are due in by Sunday 31st October 2021 and applications must be submitted via Lancashire County Council’s own system and not direct to an individual school. Parents must apply even if there is an older brother or sister at the school.

Please remember that there is no need to rush as the system does not work on a first come first served basis. We advise that parents do their research and take time to visit all their preferred schools. All schools will have good things to offer and its just a case of finding what's right for your child. We warmly invite prospective new students and their parents to the Open Evening on Thursday 23rd September 2021.

If you are applying for a place in Year 7 in September 2022 and would like to see the school during a normal day then please contact Mr Thornberry via email jthornberry@burscoughprioryacademy.org or by contacting the school on 01704 893259.

When completing the online application you are asked to list three different schools - your first, second and third school preferences. Think carefully about your preferences, if you need advice, contact your local area education office. Due to the fact that Burscough Priory Academy is expecting to receive applications in line with previous years, we strongly recommend parents who want their child to attend next September to list the school as their first preference. If you need any further advice please do not hesitate to contact Mr Thornberry via email jthornberry@burscoughprioryacademy.org or by contacting the school on 01704 893259.

In-Year Admissions

For in-year admissions to Burscough Priory Academy please contact Mrs Hammerton via l.hammerton@endeavourlearning.org or by contacting the school on 01704 893259.
